Okay so when they install the new furnace downstairs they told me, "Don't go downstairs without shoes on for a while." Apparently there are flakes of metal that even though they try some could remain. Yes. I was told this.

Do you know how many times in the the almost 11 years I lived in this house I go to basement with my shoes ON? Bet I could count on one hand. I tried to remember. I did really well until Saturday afternoon. *sigh* Had to have several slivers removed Sunday morning at the local ER.

They are coming Monday to try and clean up some more. Plus a check for me. :)

Today when driving home from lunch I slammed on breaks just in time to miss this lil one running all around the street. No tags .. Collar .. Leash .. no name.

After several hours his right full owner collected him. But he sure was a cutie. We were all set to welcome him in our home. Already had names in the running .. Homerun or Yadie.
